Ebola, this is a situation that has been in the news for quite a while now. Now the news channels are basically making this situation look like that ebola is taking over the whole continent of Africa, but tuts not true it is only isolated to three small countries in Africa.

5. Yes, I have been a victim of a "single story"... The time that I fell victim to a "single story" was with my good friend Kyle Siroky. Everyone in the school thought that Kyle was a mean and quiet kid but thats not the whole story. I decided to start to talk to Kyle a little bit and sat with him and Tom at lunch. Me and Tom got to know Kyle some more and eventually we saw that none of the things that everyone was saying about him was true at all now today Me, Tom and Kyle are still good friends today just by sitting next to him one day which turned into a hopeful life long friendship.

6. Some dangers of only telling a "single story" is that your only hearing one source of information and not getting all of the facts. Another thing that is true about a "single story" is stereotypes, stereotypes can cause a lot of commotion and that is how stereotypes are created. As Chimamanda Adichie said it "stereotypes are not the untrue stories they are just incomplete,"

"The single story creates stereotypes, and the problem with stereotypes is no that they are untrue, but that they are incomplete. they make one story become the only story."- Chimamanda Andichie this quote has a lot of meaning to it. In fact one of the most powerful meanings that it has is how stereotypes are made that they only know the one story and didn't expand on the idea or want to think of the other side of the story. Now another thing that is important with this quote is that stereotypes aren't always true but on the other hand they aren't always untrue, so either way a stereotype is not the best place or most reliable place to get the information wanted.Okay I know I may be a tad bit late on doing this but oh well it is what it is,  anyways back to the chase.
3. One thing that I think that the media does about single stories is that they extend the truth a little bit more than necessary. One example of the media over exaggerating on a single story is the current problem of
