Power of One Reflection Kyle Letts

The power of one was a great movie it showed lot courage from PK (the main character) and explained Africa’s history a lot better to me. We have learned a lot about Africa in middle school but now we actually can see how they were treated and see the hardships they went through. One of my least favorite parts of the movie was when they hung the chicken =, it was PK’s only friend and it showed a sign of courage for him. It protected him when he was asleep by clucking when people came to sabotage him. PK was a white figure in the movie that helped the Africans but if you think about it he messed up a lot for them to. Geel Pete died because of him and the boxing studio ended up getting burnt down. Everything bad that could’ve happened to PK. One of my favorite parts of the movie would be the fight at the end. I predicted PK was going to die but that didn’t end up happening. He fought and fought for South Africa until he got what he wanted. I kind of wish the movie went more into his life like after all this happened to see how he’s doing and what happened to Africa. One other thing that would’ve been good in the movie is if PK fought the guy that barged in the boxing studio; if he did it might not have got burnt down. Power of one was a good movie and I recommend watching it if you want to learn more about Africa.
