The Power of One

Over all the power of one was a good movie. But I did not understand was how a kid his age could take all of that abuse, he got peed on for goodness sake (he even got spit on in the middle of a prayer), I think that at his age that he would at least have told his teacher or his nanny. The movie never said if he got peed on every day but I`m guessing it was about every other day or so.

 After P.K. got the chicken from the medicine man and protects him from Jaapie Botha and other bullies i would have liked to know the time period that he owned it. One thing that got every one was the part were the chicken gets killed, by Jaapie using a slingshot, but I did not get that part that much because they killed it because it was his pet (i under stand that it was his pet and protected P.K. and all but really). The other part that bugged me was just a short part after were Jaapie hits P.K. with the slingshot, was that I did not understand why a slingshot? And would he have kept hitting P.K. with it until he died or would they just hit him a bunch of times? Following P.K.`s mom dying and him living with grandfather but Doc taking care of him and teaching him different things was cool because he learned to play piano, and he learned the walks of life. I have tried to stop arguing between people before but P.K. got totally different tribes to get along and sing together in a good musical/concert thing.

 I found it funny how Geel Piet taught P.K. how to box because it was looked down on when a dark skinned taught a white anything but in the end P.K. was the best person in his weight class. One thing I did not understand about the jail was because the fact that they let P.K. into it when ever he wanted and that they brought in tobacco and no one said anything about it. After so long P.K. meets a girl named Maria and the fall in love at first sight, quite literately actually in a middle of a fight he looks over and there she is, then he gets punched in the face. But maybe a year later she gets hit in the face with a night stick (I guessed she would die)  but every one else in the room (except Jenna) was shocked. I could rant on more but I`m all ready past the 300 word mark by a lot.
