1. Overall I thought my speech went pretty good. I was very nervous before I went up and the person who went before me (Connor) was good so I was even more nervous. When I first got up to the podium I was nervous but after my introduction I started to calm down and wasn't as shaky. During my speech I thought I had a good topic and a easy topic to talk about for 5-7 minuets. Since I was nervous I didn't make much eye contact and I don't think I talked very loud. If I where to do it again I would practice my speech a couple more times, speak louder, and make more eye contact.
2. I thought Amber did a good job. I really enjoyed her speech, the introduction was really funny to me and the way she delivered her speech made it really interesting to listen to. I liked how she walked around the room but not too much, only, moving between major topic changes. Also after her speech I kinda want to go to the museum in Detroit because it sounds interesting. I also really liked Ashten's speech because she could related what she was talking about in her speech into her life. Some parts she even talked about how she would not like to live back then when Ford and Wright brothers lived because of the conditions. I also enjoyed Mallory's, Kelly's, Emilie's, and Krisit's. They all delivered their speeches very good and was interesting topics to listen to.

ReplyDeleteThanks Katie, i appreciate it. I think you did great, especially since you had to go on the first day. I liked how you used a qoute from Henry Ford and incorporated the three parts of it into the three parts of your speech!
