Speech Reflection- Brooke Gazzarato
I think my speech went pretty good. It was hard for me to not be nervous because its probably one of my biggest fears. For me public speaking is very hard for me, but I think I did good for being so nervous. When I started my speech I was nervous, but not as bad as I was before the speech. When I got up there I thought it was going to be worse than it was. As the presentation went on my speed of my speech went down and I got more comfortable talking. I went under the time limit unfortunately, but I thought I did okay with how it was overall. If I were to do it over again I would have talked slower and added more information so my speech was longer.
I thought Amber Ramsey did an outstanding job. Her presentation gave me goose bumps it was phenomenal. She gave sound affects and got her point across great. She used description where I felt like I was there and it really got me into the speech to pay attention to what she was saying. Also, she used humor and was entertaining throughout the whole speech. She was my favorite speech of all the Globies we saw. Also, I thought Dane L. did a great job. His speech was very moving and very affective. They both were so amazing and they really set the bar for all the speeches. But overall for our first speeches, we did an amazing job as a class!

Brooke, you did amazing! I would've never guessed that public speaking was difficult for you. Thanks for the shoutout, I really appreciate it. Also, don't be discouraged that you were under the time limit, even I was under it happens to the best of us, you still did an amazing job!
ReplyDeleteI think your speech went very well and I would've never guessed that you were that nervous! I would't worry about the time limit, it's the content that really matters in a speech and you definitely had it. Congrats!
