Speech reflection
Mallory Green 3rd hour

I thought my cultural event was just average. I definitely could’ve improved, but I was happy with the contents of my speech. I was very nervous before and during my delivery/introduction, but as I continued to present I became more comfortable. One of my weaknesses was how fast I spoke, because it made my presentation shorter than I had planned. Which probably lost me some points. One of my strengths was eye contact with the class. I felt that I did a good job keeping my eyes off my notecard. If I had a chance to redo my speech I would work harder on speaking slowly and managing my time.

Although the entire class did an excellent job I really enjoyed listening to Amber and Ashten’s presentations. I loved Amber’s speech because (as usual) she was able to blend in some comedy, and still get her point across. I loved Ashten’s because she didn’t pause and she didn’t filler words, such as like and uhm. Both of them seemed very comfortable presenting, and I think they’re both amazing speakers.
